The 48-hour Photo Competition for local high schools was held again in May this year. The theme was "True Colours". The judges have narrowed the field down to their favourites and they were on display at the new "Thanks" clothing store on Spring street and at all the high schools. The photos are a series of 3.

Prizes worth around $900 were up for grabs.

This years wining series of photos was taken by: Nicole Melville from Mount Maunganui College.
