Bay of Plenty Polytechnic offers the largest range of New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) approved programmes in Tauranga and the Western Bay of Plenty. Our nationally recognised short courses, certificates, diplomas, degree programmes and pathways are relevant, hands-on and of high quality. Students benefit from smaller class sizes and lots of personal attention by staff who are committed and aware of industries’ needs.

Bay of Plenty Polytechnic works closely with local and national industries to provide the right training and skills needed in their workforces; this means our graduates have excellent employment prospects.

We’ve developed strategic partnerships with other tertiary institutions to provide important pathways and opportunities for our students. In 2008 Bay of Plenty Polytechnic entered into a full institutional partnership with the University of Waikato.
