How to apply

Whether you’re enrolled in a Bay of Plenty Polytechnic or University of Waikato programme, your experience at our Tauranga campuses will be seamless.

You can begin with polytechnic papers and use them as the entry to a university degree, or start directly in a university programme. Either way there will be plenty of support and guidance from Polytechnic and University staff and lecturers to help with a smooth and effortless transition.

Admissions

Admission to University degree-level study requires you to have University Entrance or to meet other entrance and admission standards. Some qualifications have additional criteria. For further information please contact the University of Waikato to request a copy of the Tauranga programmes handbook.

Admission to Bay of Plenty Polytechnic qualifications varies, depending on the level and subject content of the programme. Contact the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic for details.
 

Tuition

Tuition fees vary for each paper and for each subject, and your annual tuition fees will depend on the papers you take.
