It was a long way to come here. I decided that New Zealand would give me the best combination of quality and cost.

All of our classes are taught in English. You will therefore need to be proficient in English to be accepted and succeed in your studies.
If English is not your first language you may be required to provide evidence of English language proficiency, generally in the form of an IELTS or TOEFL, before acceptance into your chosen programme. Scores can vary according to the qualification sought.
In some cases the IELTS or TOEFL requirements may be waived where English was the language of instruction in the last two years of secondary/tertiary studies. Proof of this may be required at the time of application.
Please note that applicants who have studied in countries in which English is the language of instruction may still be required to provide evidence of proficiency in English language and are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Unless stated otherwise:
| Programme Level | IELTS | TOEFL paper-based | TOEFL iBT |
| Level 1-4 programmes | 5.5 | 500 | 61 |
| Level 5-6 programmes | 6 | 550 | 79-80 |
