Bay of Plenty Polytechnic is a New Zealand government owned and funded institute of technology that offers the largest range of New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) approved programmes in Tauranga and the Western Bay of Plenty. Local and international students can pick from over 150 certificate, diploma and degree programmes in a range of subjects, all taught by our industry experienced tutors.

We've joined forces with the University of Waikato and share facilities in Tauranga to create pathways for students to move easily from diploma into bachelor degrees. Have a look at the partnership flowchart (pdf).

We also recognise some of the learning already completed by students who attended their first year programme at our partnership institution (SAS Institute of IT and Research), which enables you direct entry into the second year of one of our programmes.
