The building and construction industry in New Zealand has undergone large changes over the past few years. These changes have involved reviewing and upgrading the Building Code with an increased demand for higher level education to meet the more specialised and technical building construction trends.
The National Certificate in Construction (Supervisor) Level 5 is a programme specially designed to meet the needs of supervisors on-site. The aim of the programme is to equip people who are already working as a construction supervisor, or those wishing to move into the role, with skills and knowledge required of construction supervisors in the building and construction industry.
You’ll gain the required technical and supervisory skills, and take courses in advanced construction, construction management and health and safety.
