National Diploma in Construction Management Level 6

Get your construction career established with this theory-based course of study. You'll cover construction site procedures, site management, construction methodologies, health and safety planning, quality assurance and client communication.

The National Diploma in Construction Management level 6 replaces the New Zealand Certificate in Building. It is theoretical in nature and will give you the skills and knowledge required by the industry's construction managers.

The first year of the programme is common to the National Diploma in Quantity Surveying Level 6, and six unit standards are common to the National Diploma in Architectural Technology Level 6.

You can either start your training direct from school (taking the full-time option), or if you're currently employed in the construction industry we have a flexi-learn option (two days and two evenings per month).
