As 3D modelling packages become more powerful and user friendly, many engineering firms are producing their own plans and drawings on-site. With the influx of CNC machining these skills are becoming essential in today's market.

Content Details

  • Unit 2433 - Create simple engineering drawings using computer aided design software
  • Unit 2436 - Create three dimensional engineering models under supervision

Entry

You should be working in the engineering or associated industries and be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills such as:

  • Unit 2431 - Draw and interpret engineering drawings under supervision, and
  • Unit 2780 - Operate and maintain a personal computer system

English Language Requirements
If you are an overseas student or a new resident and English is not your first language, please note that study at tertiary level requires both written and oral participation.
 

You will be required to have an IELTS score of 5.5 or TOEFL score of 500.

Indicative Fees

  • $505 incl. course related costs

The standard published fee is applicable for New Zealand citizens and permanent residents only.

An international fee is payable for non New Zealand citizens/permanent residents.
