The Department of Conservation (DOC) is the government organisation responsible for conserving New Zealand's natural and historical heritage, for all to enjoy now and into the future.

Our environmental management programmes are endorsed by DOC and many of our students complete the work experience component of their course with the department, getting involved in a wide range of research projects around the country, such as monitoring native seedling regeneration in forest ecosystems, and populations of endangered species like dotterel and kokako. For further information visit DOC.

Our graduates gain employment with DOC. For further information visit the DOC website.
