Want a Bachelor of Science but don't want to leave Tauranga? You're in luck! If you've got your Diploma in Environmental Management or Marine Studies (both level 6) you can enjoy this final year of study towards your bachelor degree right here in Tauranga.

Complete just one more year after your Diploma in Marine Studies or Diploma in Environmental Management and you’ll gain a Bachelor of Science.

The University of Waikato degree is taught by Bay of Plenty Polytechnic staff in Tauranga. You’ll pick up key skills in courses on terrestrial or marine ecology, coastal management, fresh water ecology and Geographical Information Systems fields.

English Language Requirements

If you are an overseas student or a new resident and English is not your first language, please note that study at tertiary level requires both written and oral participation.

You will be required to have an IELTS score of 6 or TOEFL score of 550.
