This programme is suitable for radio operators using single side band or VHF ship radio stations. The certificate is compulsory for New Zealand Offshore Master (NZOM) and Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers 95 (STCW 95) candidates.

The programme runs over three days with an examination on the last day.

Entry

Examination Requirements

On the first day of the course you must bring with you a certified copy of your birth certificate, passport or drivers licence and two passport sized photos. These will be submitted with your application to Radio Spectrum, which you will complete on the first day.

Indicative Fees

  • $255 incl. course related costs

The standard published fee is applicable for New Zealand citizens and permanent residents only.

An international fee is payable for non New Zealand citizens/permanent residents.
