Maori Education Trust Scholarships (General)
A range of scholarships at variable amounts is available through the Maori Education Trust. For details, application deadlines and to apply, please see their website.

Hauora Maori Scholarship (Healthcare & Nursing)
To assist students to undertake or complete an NZQA accredited course in health and disability studies, in order to build Maori workforce capacity in the health sector.

Te Putea Whakatapu Scholarships (Details at teohu.maori.nz)
A large number of scholarships of varying values are available to Maori students. These scholarships provide support from Te Ohu Kai Moana for Maori students studying for the:

• Maritime New Zealand statutory qualifications - selection of short programmes
• National Certificate in Seafood Vessel Operations (Nautical Skills) Level 3
• Certificate in Maritime & Fishing Technology Level 3
• Diploma in Marine Studies Level 6

Applications close: various times during year according to intake of programme. Check with Information Centre.
