SCHOLARSHIPS OPEN TO SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS @ BOP POLYTECHNIC:

• BOP Polytechnic Kelly Tarlton's Marine Studies Scholarship (Full Fee plus paid work placement)
• BOP Polytechnic Pacific Coast Scholarships (Full Fee for 1st year) a maximum of 25 scholarships - diploma & degree programmes 
• BOP Polytechnic TrustPower Scholarship (Environmental Management)  ($1,500)  
• Restaurant Assn. Education Trust Scholarships ($3,000)
• TeachNZ Scholarships (Early Childhood Education)

BOP Polytechnic Kelly Tarlton's Marine Studies Scholarships ($9,000 towards study fee over two years)
Kelly Tarlton's Marine Studies Scholarship Application (PDF, <200kb) 
Open to anyone planning to enter the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic Diploma in Marine Studies Level 6. The recipient will get the opportunity to work at Kelly Tarltons over the summer break.

BOP Polytechnic Pacific Coast Scholarships, Te Putea Awhina Akonga o te Moana a Toi (25 programme fees for 1st year of study)

These scholarships are available to students from the broader Bay of Plenty region with preference for students from Aquinas College, Bethlehem College, Katikati College, Mount Maunganui College, Otumoetai College, Tauranga Boys and Tauranga Girls Colleges, and Te Puke High School. Participating schools will select students who have demonstrated excellence in a range of areas. Scholarship winners will enrol in a full-time Bay of Plenty Polytechnic programme of two or more years duration.

School of Applied Technology

• National Diploma in Architectural Technology Level 6
• National Diploma in Quantity Surveying Level 6

Open to anyone planning to enter the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic Diploma in Environmental Management Level 6.

Restaurant Association Education Trust Scholarships ($3,000)
The association offers a number of scholarships for secondary school students planning to enrol in a full-time (minimum 24 weeks) hospitality programme, and for hospitality students pursuing Level 4 Hospitality units. Details and application forms can be downloaded from www.restaurantnz.co.nz/education.asp.

Applications close: 30 October.

TeachNZ Scholarships (Early Childhood Education)
