Anna O’Leary Graduate – 2007 Cert. in Animal Care L2, Cert. in Veterinary Nursing L5 Employed – Vet Nurse at Te Puke Vet Centre
"I chose to study at the polytechnic because it looked like a good course, it was close to home and I liked the idea that it was only one year of study, and I would have a career from it. The highlight of the course for me was definitely the work experience. It was very hands-on work and helped me grow and prepare for the workplace. I also received the Merial Award at graduation which is recognised throughout the vet nursing industry - this was a great bonus."
