Improve your computer skills for use at work or at home.

There are seven modules:

• Basic Concepts of Information Technology
• Using the Computer and Managing Files
• Word Processing (MS Word)
• Spreadsheets (MS Excel)
• Database (MS Access)
• Presentation (MS PowerPoint)
• Information and Communication (Internet and Email)

You will study at your own pace and take the relevant tests at the end of each module.

Entry

Open entry. ICDL is suitable for complete beginners through to people wanting a qualification to recognise their existing computer skills.

Fees
FREE for NZ citizens and permanent residents studying at our computing suites.

Qualification Gained

• International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL).

This is equivalent to 19 NCEA credits at Level 2.   It can also provide 10 credits (Paper 811)  towards the New Zealand Certificate in Management.
