BOP Polytechnic TrustPower Scholarship
The scholarship is funded from the interest earned from funds invested after the disposal of electricity company shares by Bay of Plenty Polytechnic in 1995. It is to provide funding to a student identified as demonstrating attributes likely to help them succeed on the programme, and go on to make a contribution in the field of environmental management. The financial need of the applicant will also be a consideration in selecting the recipient.

Eligibility:
- Applications are open to any Year 1 student planning to enter Year 2 of the Diploma in Environmental Management Level 6
- Open to New Zealand citizens and permanent residents only

- A statement detailing why and how you have focused on the chosen subject area
- A statement of how you meet the criteria
- Outline how the scholarship will be important to your success on the programme (i.e. financial need and likely source of funds for fee payment). Evidence may include any of the following and other evidence; covering letter, a CV, academic results, involvement in work experience or voluntary work, related interests, supporting statements from work experience providers, previous employers or other people who know the applicant well
