Bay of Plenty Polytechnic’s programme portfolio is delivered through four schools of study, offering short courses, certificates, diplomas, degrees and pathways in their respective subject areas. Each school provides an enthusiastic and supportive learning environment through a range of specialised services.
The School of Applied Technology provides high quality, hands-on programmes designed to meet the varied and ever-changing needs of the industry. Our programmes range from pre-employment courses for entry into apprenticeships, to certificates and diplomas that help you advance your career. You can get the skills industry needs in architectural technology, automotive, carpentry, construction, electrotechnology, engineering, law enforcement, road transport and welding.
The School of Business is based in the heart of Tauranga’s CBD in the Bongard Centre. Offering a wide range of certificates, diploma and degree programmes, you can choose to study accounting, business administration, hospitality, information technology, legal studies, logistics, management, marketing, travel and tourism programmes.
Creativity and ingenuity are the guiding principles behind the School of Design and Humanities.
Encompassing art, beauty, fashion, graphic design, hairdressing, massage, music, pharmacy and radio, our Design division focuses on nurturing your creative talents.
