Student Worx

 
The team at Student Worx aim to enhance your student experience at Bay of Plenty Polytechnic. The team co ordinates sports, cultural and community activities for students, such as orientation weeks, The annual ski trip, summer beach bash, quiz nights, and the social highlight of the year – the Student Ball.

The Student Worx team offers services such as hardship loan assistance, accommodation listing and housing, budget advice, pastoral care, sports equipment and board games. You can obtain copies of the Student Handbook and wall planners free of charge from the offices at either campus. The co-ordinators also work along side BOPPSA to plan social events and monitor student needs. Please phone for availability on either campus.

This not for profit organisation, is an employment agency just for students. It is owned by tertiary students associations throughout the country and is co-funded by government and the student associations themselves.

Student Job Search Tauranga provides a free service to students, allowing you the opportunity to secure employment in a variety of industries.
