Learning Support at Our Tauranga Campuses

Ako Ātea (often referred to as "The Ātea) is a learning and social space for students, in Tauranga. 

If you need help with your studies you can talk to our friendly learner facilitators and they'll help you with things like; academic writing, study skills, understanding questions, essay and report writing, time management, referencing, computing, mathematics, and Tikanga Maori.

Students can book one-to-one or small group sessions.

There are Ako Ātea located at both Windermere and Bongard campuses, and online services are also available. At The Ātea you'll find:

  • Wifi
  • Printers
  • Photocopying
  • Group study rooms
