Graduate Diploma in Accounting (Level 7)
If you already have a degree and want to continue on your learning journey or enhance your employability in the field of accounting, then this extra qualification could be for you.
You can study full-time or part-time and get up to speed quickly in a new specialisation without having to undertake a three or four year degree.
All lectures are delivered in Tauranga and with small class sizes, you'll be getting all the one-on-one support you need to succeed.
Graduate Diplomas are comprised of six papers in your chosen specialisation.
You'll complete two papers here at Toi Ohomai, and four papers with the University of Waikato in Tauranga. Your final qualification will be a University of Waikato Graduate Diploma.
Your specific plan of study will be designed upon application.
Papers are offered on a semester basis. If studying full-time, each semester is 15 study weeks and 2 weeks holiday. Each paper has five hours of class time per week. You can attend day or evening classes. In addition to class time, you're expected to undertake 10 hours of self-directed study per week per paper.
Full-time study is three or more papers in a semester.
If you're commencing study in the first semester, we encourage you to enrol for the full year at the time of enrolment. This avoids having to repeat enrolment again mid-year.
